Both N Williams and N Vancouver are major bike thoroughfares with thousands of commuters daily. There are many good bike streets that connect to the Williams District. Portland's bike-share program, BIKETOWN, is an easy way to get about town. There are four stations along N Williams at N Morris, N Ivy, N Failing and N Mason. Plus a fifth Biketown on N Vancouver at N Alberta

Coming from the north take the #44—it goes right down N Williams. From the south take the #6 via NE MLK Jr., then it is a quick couple block walk west to N Williams. Other convenient lines that serve our district and run frequently include the #4, #24 and #72. Visit Trimet.org/ride to plan your route.

The Yellow Line runs parallel to Williams District. From the north take the Rosa Parks stop and transfer to the #44 bus line. From the south take the N Prescott stop and it’s a half-mile walk east. Visit Trimet.org/ride to plan your route.

Williams District is accessible from downtown by connecting to N Williams directly through the Rose Quarter via Broadway. Via I-5: from the north take the Swan Island / Alberta Exit, from the south take the Killingsworth / Alberta Exit to N Vancouver. NE MLK Jr., just a couple blocks east of N Williams, runs parallel to Williams District.
